This is a Kiso lacquerware product from Nagano Prefecture.
Set of 5 round bowls.
The exterior is a dark brown color.
Unused, but there are some minor scratches that are barely noticeable.
Approximately 11cm in diameter at the top and 7cm in height.
This is a standard size.

Being made of wood, it floats on water. Resin products often sink. Also, the sound when tapped with a finger is not a high-pitched sound like that of resin. As a characteristic of wood, the base of the bowl is thicker to maintain strength towards the bottom. Unlike resin products, it does not feel hot even when holding hot soup.
It is unclear whether it is coated with genuine lacquer or synthetic lacquer.
It was stored in a storehouse.
